Sarah is a Registered Psychotherapist, Somatic Experiencing Practitioner and trained yoga teacher. She specializes in helping people heal and recover from trauma, anxiety, chronic stress, and women's issues, including perinatal mental health. Sarah uses an eclectic approach that goes beyond traditional talk therapy by safely bringing the body into the therapeutic process. She loves to collaborate with her clients based on their unique needs and goals while integrating a variety of approaches including Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, parts work, mindfulness, yoga and more. She is a trained yoga teacher with a passion for yoga nidra and offers free yoga nidra practices and other guided meditations through her Youtube channel "Blooming Lotus Counselling". Sarah is passionate about helping others to find healing, wholeness and well-being. She whole-heartedly believes in the resilience of the human spirit and that we all possess an innate wisdom and capacity for healing.
Sarah is a mother of two young children and loves spending time with her family and their dog. She also loves reading, hiking, yoga and cooking. She considers herself a lifelong student and is dedicated to ongoing learning both within her field and beyond.
