Your Cycle is Seasonal

We were never meant to function like machines. Yet so many women try to live as if we are meant to be productive, consistent, available, and emotionally even, every single day of the month.

But your body tells a different story.

Your menstrual cycle is not an inconvenience. It is a rhythm. A turning of seasons within you. Just like the Earth. And when you begin to live in alignment with those inner seasons… something changes.

You stop fighting yourself. You start understanding yourself. Let’s walk through them.

Spring - The Inner Maiden (Follicular Phase)

This begins after your bleed. Energy rises. Ideas return. Hope feels possible again. You feel clearer, lighter, more curious. This is your season of becoming.

This is the season of:

• New ideas
• Planning
• Initiating
• Socializing
• Brainstorming

Your body is building. Your hormones are rising. There is an upward movement inside you. This is a beautiful time to start projects, schedule meetings, create content, and try something new. Spring doesn’t demand, it invites.

Summer — The Inner Radiance (Ovulation)

Here, you are in full bloom, summer is the season of the queen. The woman who knows and makes moves. Confidence expands, magnetism increases, communication flows.

This is the season of:

• Visibility
• Connection
• Collaboration
• Expression
• Leadership

You may feel more outward, more generous, more radiant. Your body is biologically primed for connection, not just romantically, but socially and creatively. Summer is your “yes” energy.

It is warmth. It is openness.

Fall — The Inner Wild Woman (Luteal Phase)

Then something begins to shift, your energy turns inward, sensitivity heightens and clarity sharpens. This is the season where your inner truth-teller awakens.

You may notice:

• Irritation
• Lower tolerance for nonsense
• A desire to organize, finish, complete
• Emotional intensity

Fall strips away illusion. The things that felt fine in Summer may suddenly feel misaligned. This is not moodiness, this is discernment. Fall is your boundary-setting season.

Winter — The Inner Wise Woman (Menstruation)

And then… the bleed. Winter asks you to stop. Energy drops, intuition rises and silence becomes nourishing.

This is the season of:

• Rest
• Reflection
• Spiritual insight
• Deep feeling
• Integration

Your body is releasing. Your nervous system wants quiet. When you allow Winter to be Winter, rather than forcing Summer productivity, you access profound wisdom. This is when the deeper truths surface. This is when your body speaks most clearly.

The Problem Was Never Your Cycle

The problem was being taught to ignore it. When you try to live in constant Summer…
You burn out.

When you shame your Fall irritability…
You silence your boundaries.

When you override Winter rest…
You disconnect from your intuition.

Your cycle is not dysfunction. It is design. It is intelligence moving through you.

A Question for You

If you began honoring your inner seasons instead of fighting them…

How would your life change?

Where are you currently demanding Summer from yourself… when your body is asking for Winter?

Your body is not against you. It is guiding you. If this resonated, I’d love to hear which season you’re in right now.

Love you,
