Hello! I'm Shannon, Registered Psychotherapist/Owner of Kind-Natured Psychotherapy. 

I work with adults navigating the profound pain of betrayal and infidelity trauma, with a specialization in supporting partners/ex-partners of porn/sex addicts. Betrayal can be disorienting, pulling the ground from under you, leaving deep attachment wounds, hurt and shock. Judgment and shame often follow, leading to a sense of grief and isolation. Often this experience is navigated in silence as one tries to make sense of their new world since discovery. There can be physical, behavioural, emotional experiences related to this pain. 

In my practice, I provide a down-to-earth, warm, and open approach, free of judgment. As an APSATS-Trainee, I bring specialized care endorsed by the Association of Partners of Sex Addict Trauma Specialists. I incorporate EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, a trauma-informed lens, neuroscience/somatic lens, and attachment theory. 

Together, we form a compassionate team, tailoring treatment plans to your unique needs. We delve into self-exploration, boundary development, and value-work, finding a balance between deep, transformative work and lighter moments.
