My name is Marianne. I have come to this path of being a healer as a process of self-healing. It is clear to me now, that we are all healers for ourselves. I see my role in this work as to hold the sacred space for you to do that healing, and share some of the techniques I have learned along the way. The healing process is multi-faceted, and can be accessed through many doorways. On my journey, I found that working with multiple modalities and practitioners helped. 

I have come to know that we cannot separate the body, mind, heart and spirit; each aspect is intricately entwined with the rest. All of these avenues are a portal into healing, and yet, modalities that emphasize one or the other all have their place and time. Your healing journey is your own; it is a lifelong journey, and you have many opportunities and options. 

I started studying Reiki (to Master level) and Herbalism about 30 years ago. I’ve been in professional practice as a Registered Herbalist for 15 years and now make all my tinctures as Spagyric medicine (a herbal branch of Alchemy). I have taken my plant studies into many realms, including flower essences. My Bowen practice has spanned over 20 years and I am one of Canada’s Instructors. Bowen is a hands-on modality that is beneficial for reducing pain and rebalancing the whole body. Keep your eyes peeled for a Bowen class at Realign in the spring. As a life-long learner, I have also spent time with energy work, crystal work, shamanistic studies, transpersonal work and end-of-life care. All of it holds a place and you have choice to work with the modalities that resonate for you. 

Currently, my hours at Realign are Wednesdays from 9am-1pm, Thursdays from 1:30pm-6pm, and Fridays from 1:30pm-6pm. The services I am offering during these times are: Bowen Therapy, Reiki/Crystal healing, and Past Life Regressions.
